| CG Engineering provided civil and structural design for the replacement of approximately 215 feet of retaining wall on the south side of 4th Street, to the west of Cedar Avenue. The stairs to the existing adjacent residence were replaced, along with the curb, gutter, planting strip, and sidewalk. The slope behind the wall was re-graded to achieve a 2:1 slope, and the wall was varied in height to accommodate the new finished elevations. A drainage system was installed behind the wall and tied into the existing storm water conveyance system adjacent to the site. The entry to the stairs from the side walk incorporated concrete pilasters to accommodate light poles which were selected by the home owner. Technical specifications for civil and structural elements were provided, along with the construction plans.
