| CG Engineering provided structural engineering services for a pedestrian boardwalk approximately 300 feet in length and a height above the wetland of approximately 4 feet. The longest span for the bridge over an existing creek was approximately 12 feet. Three inch diameter pin piles were driven into the soils for the support of the walkway. We provided engineering calculations and construction documents for construction. Treated beams for the board walk substructure were utilized. A Trex decking system was used for the actual walkway. We also provided the structural design for abutments on either side of the bridge.
