| CG Engineering provided structural engineering for this three-story 24,000 square foot wood frame addition to an existing hotel. The project also included the addition of a one-story, 4,500 square foot meeting facility. The building utilized plywood panel, shear walls for its lateral system. An auger cast pile foundation system was required for this site. To minimize the need for reinforced grade beams, the first floor slab was designed as a post-tensioned flat slab. |
