| The Sammamish Presbyterian Church project included a new 420 seat sanctuary. This is an addition to the one-story existing sanctuary which was remodeled into the foyer and connected to the new sanctuary. The main entrance was built with heavy timber braces and a wood roof. The new sanctuary roof was framed with open web steel girders and wood joists with a plywood deck. Wind and seismic forces are resisted by steel columns and beams and concentrically braced frames. The walls are metal stud infill. |
