CG Engineering provided structural engineering services for this senior living project in Everett, Washington. The project consisted of 264 apartment units in a 5 story building on 7 levels. There were concrete retaining walls at each step in the structure.
The total square footage was approximately 260,000 square feet. The structure was primarily wood framed except there was concrete post-tensioned slab over concrete walls and columns where parking was located under the building. It had a slab-on-grade first floor and utilized a spread footing design.
